Schoenherr opens equity to non-Vienna partners

Austrian firm Schoenherr has brought partners from outside its Vienna headquarters into its equity partnership for the first time.

The five new partners, who are based in the firm’s Belgrade, Bucharest and Prague offices, will make up more than a fifth of the firm’s total partnership.

Prague-based partners Martin Kubánek and Martin Nedelka have joined the equity retroactively as of February 2010. Belgrade partners Slaven Moravčević and Matija Vojnović and Bucharest-based Sebastian Guţiu will join the equity in February 2011.

Managing partner Christoph Lindinger said: “They’re all experienced top lawyers who not only belong to the local elite but are renowned throughout Central Europe. We want to give them a warm welcome in our partnership.”
