A former professional footballer, Kieron Brady, is seeking damages from Sunderland Football Club. He blames the club for cutting short his career, accusing it of negligence for failing to refer him to a medical specialist in time after he complained of pains in his leg. Brady was later diagnosed as having a serious artery condition. He is also suing two specialists who treated him, claiming their treatment led to irretrievable damage.
