Stephenson Harwood’s private capital team defects

Stephenson Harwood is losing its entire private capital and family team to Charles Russell.

As first reported on www.thelawyer.com (23 January), a team of three partners and two consultants from the private capital group planned to depart for Charles Russell. It now appears that the entire team making the move will number 11 lawyers.

The group is headed up by the former head of Stephenson Harwood’s private capital team Robert Partridge and will be in place from 1 August.

Other lawyers in on the move include partners Robert Blower, Jonathan Walsh and Gill Rivers, as well as consultants William Corbett and Michael Jenning, and assistant Miranda Fischer.

The appointments follow extensive internal restructuring within Charles Russell, and they are expected to boost the firm’s sizeable private client division by 20 per cent.
