FIELD FISHER Waterhouse has restructured its Paris branch, leading to the loss of four of the seven partners who founded the office two years ago.

The move will see the French practice fully integrated into the firm, replacing the profit-sharing joint venture that has been in place since 2007.

Six of the 10 Paris partners have now transferred to the Field Fisher partnership but Remi Kleiman, Valerie Dubaile, Mario Celaya and Stephane Benezant have left.

The Paris office was launched in 2007 by seven partners from former alliance firm Dubarry.

Field Fisher head of international development Mark Abel said the firm was looking for high-level lateral hires to rebuild the office, adding: “We’re positioning ourselves so we can implement a real growth strategy.”

Former Dubarry partner Bruco Paccioni will be managing partner, heading six partners and 10 assistants.
