Commercial and chancery set Wilberforce Chambers has raided XXIV Old Buildings for offshore litigation specialist Clare Stanley.

Stanley was called to the bar in 1994 and has focused her practice on trust, fraud, professional liability and insolvency litigation across a number of jurisdictions.

Jules Sher QC, head of chambers at Wilberforce, said: “Clare’sone of the rising stars in her field and is important to the expansion of our international capability.

Her abilities, combined with her energy and experience, make her a great addition to this set.”

Stanley is the latest lateral appointment since Martin Hutchings joined the set after 199 Strand dissolved in January 2006.
