Register now Register with The Lawyer Filemot 4 April 2011 at 12:50 it is a little harsh to say that there is much room for improvement and that community trademarks take 12 to 18 months to register. OHIM has been most assiduous in bringing pre-advertisment times down to the absolute minimum acceptable marks, particularly if they use terms that do not require personalised translation in Luxembourg. The report is massive and it was brave of Tania to attempt any summary. How the commission will react and whether we can expect any changes in the Community Trade Mark regulation will take time. Nevertheless, it is extremely convenient to have this massive amount of evidence and, where practicable, the report might have a modest degree of influence on the interpretation of the existing Regulation. I expect no more. Reply Link Name Email Cancel reply Threaded commenting powered by interconnect/it code.
