ICI’s Herlihy to quit

ICI’s general counsel and company secretary Michael Herlihy has quit the FTSE 100 company after 26 years service.

Herlihy, who has been general counsel since January 1996, will be replaced by Andy Ransom, the group vice president for mergers and acquisitions.

Ransom has been with ICI for 18 years and prior to his current role worked as general counsel for ICI in the Americas.

Herlihy is due to retire from ICI at the end of June.
