Has hardly been in London in last 6 months. Good addition for Cads New York though. Reply Link Anonymous 18 September 2013 at 12:23 @Pilgrim – Cads are listing both Bloomingdale and Wagner as being based only in their London office, not in their New York office … Reply Link Anon 19 September 2013 at 14:27 @Anonymous – yes indeed. Chambers UK ranks Bloomingdale as being Band 1 for Capital Markets: Securitisation and Wagner as associate to watch also in Capital Markets: Securitisation, and Chambers US – neither are ranked by Chambers USA. This will devastate the Mayer Brown London practice, especially after Stephen Day’s earlier move to Cads. A pattern emerging? Reply Link Pilgrim 19 September 2013 at 21:34 Yes, but if Bloomingdale is based in New York or is moving back to London and Wagner is an associate to partner promotion, how will that devastate Mayer Brown London? Surely it will hurt MB New York? Bloomingdale is a big name for sure but damage is overseas and if he’s now back then he will cause an impact here. Reply Link Anonymous 20 September 2013 at 09:46 All I ever hear about with regard to Mayer Brown London is the loss of influential partners, tough times? Reply Link Anonymous 20 September 2013 at 14:22 tough times… Reply Link Anonymous 23 September 2013 at 16:35 MB’s London office is having its best year in years (as is the entire firm). Bloomingdale was far from a superstar and MB will be fine without him. Reply Link Anon 24 September 2013 at 15:33 And on top of this MB has just lost a top ranked insurance corporate partner to Clydes. All very careless of MB … Reply Link Anonymous 25 September 2013 at 11:56 Tough indeed – they’ve also just lost their top corporate insurance partner to Clydes – that’ll hurt Reply Link PR ALERT 25 September 2013 at 17:02 4.35pm – print and put in appraisal PR person Reply Link Name Email Cancel reply Threaded commenting powered by interconnect/it code.
