Jeremy Cahill QC and Thea Osmund-Smith acted for Barwood Strategic Land and successfully promoted a scheme for up to 900 residential dwellings, a primary school, a local centre and a Park and Ride facility for up to 500 spaces at a Public Inquiry held in April 2015. Despite the fact that the Inspector recommended refusal of planning permission the Secretary of State placed greater weight on the need to deliver housing together with the Park and Ride facility and granted planning permission.
