Housing provider Radian has launched a panel review, with the final lineup understood to be worth between £3m and £5m.

The six-firm panel will run for three years with the option to extend contracts for a further 12 months, subject to a review at the end of the term.

The contract will be split into six lots covering property, housing management, home ownership, employment, finance and corporate and general commercial including IT.

Radian general counsel Scott Greenwood is understood to be leading the review.

The company employs more than 1,200 staff and has a turnover of £120m. It provides nearly 21,000 homes across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex, and Wiltshire.

Housing associations Midland Heart and Thirteen Group also recently retendered their legal panels. As part of Thirteen Groups’ tendering process firms were expected to show that they could provide additional social value through their work.
