French independent firm Ginestié Magellan Paley-Vincent has boosted its corporate practice with the hire of two new partners.
The firm has brought in Armelle Walters-Renaud, who was a partner at Allen & Overy (A&O) for four years, as well as Dewey & LeBoeuf senior associate Jean-Jacque Pujol, who joins as partner. The new hires bring the firm’s partnership up to 15.
Walters-Renaud worked in the Paris office of A&O until 2005 and took a sabbatical before returning to work at Ginestié. Walters-Renaul said: “It’s different here as it’s a smaller firm, but I like it. The team is very entrepreneurial and they are extremely astute lawyers.”
Ginestié has also boosted its ranks with three new associates. The hires include Brigitte Fleurot, who was the general counsel of French publishing group Aprovia, and Amaury D’Everlange from Jeantet Associes.
