Linklaters has hired its first banking partner for its growing Dutch office.
Martijn Koopal, currently head of the banking and finance practice at DLA SchutGrosheide in Amsterdam, will join the firm later this year.
The appointment is the latest step in the development of Linklaters’ Dutch law capability and follows the hire of corporate partner Pieter Riemer from Allen & Overy in January.
