Dewey & LeBoeuf has boosted its Frankfurt office with the hire of a senior tax lawyer from Clifford Chance.

The firm has hired Bela Jansen, a counsel at Clifford Chance, to bring its Frankfurt tax practice up to 16 lawyers in total. Jansen has been at Clifford Chance for five years and has developed a practice focused on the tax aspects of M&A transactions, real estate deals and project finance.

Frankfurt has been one of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s fastest growing offices in Europe, with the firm adding real estate partner Ralph Wagner, who in October with six associates from P + P Pšllath + Partner
