Thring Townsend partner Kerrie Hunt advised the England rugby coach Andy Robinson on his exit this week.
Robinson quit as the world champion’s coach yesterday (29 November) after 25 months in charge and a disastrous run of games which saw England lose eight of their last nine matches.
Hunt would not comment on the terms of Robinson’s departure but said the main pressure from a legal point of view had been the recent media spotlight.
“There has been an intense period of press speculation about Andy’s position since the weekend, during which we have been supporting and advising him,” said Hunt.
The south west firm has advised Robinson for a number of years, beginning with his time as a player at Bath.
Farrers partner Katie Lancaster advised the Rugby Football Union.
