John Hendy QC has stepped down as head of Old Square Chambers after nearly a decade at the helm.

John Hendy QC has stepped down as head of Old Square Chambers after nearly a decade at the helm. He will be replaced by Nigel Cooksley QC and Jane McNeill, who take over as joint heads of chambers. Hendy will return to practice in the employment, disciplinary and industrial relations group. He is well-known for appearing on behalf of crash victims at inquiries into the Ladbroke Grove and Southall train disasters. Both Cooksley and McNeill specialise in personal injury claims.
