Careers: In brief

The ‘Young Graduates for Lawyers’ scheme, a programme launched in 2003 to encourage talented A-level students from non-traditional backgrounds to pursue a career in law, celebrated the achievements of the first A-level students to complete the scheme. The students came from 25 different schools across London. Linklaters managing partner Tony Angel and Sir Peter Lampl, chairman of the Sutton Trust, presented the students with certificates on Thursday 15 September.
