Bingham McCutchen boosted its Orange County office with three new securities litigation partners from a local rival Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.
The three hires include Todd Gordinier, a former Los Angeles managing partner of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe and Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker. Gordinier, whose clients include Morgan Stanley, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Hyundai, is joined at Bingham by Jason Anderson and Edward Kim.
Christopher Hockett, firm-wide chair of Bingham’s litigation group said: “The addition of Todd, Jason and Edward will not only enhance our Southern California litigation practice, but also our national litigation practice. Todd and his team bring with them years of experience in servicing the sophisticated litigation needs of financial services institutions.”
The new arrivals follow Bingham’s raid on Morrison & Foerster for three finance partners at the beginning of the month. As first revealed on www.thelawyer.com (2 February), the three-lawyer team includes the former head of MoFo’s New York financial transactions group Mark Joachim along with partners Katherine Weinstein and Sandra Lee Montgomery.
