Linklaters appoints new Hong Kong head

Linklaters has replaced the managing partner of its Hong Kong office with the head of its litigation and arbitration team in Asia.

Marc Harvey is taking over the post from Nick Rees who is returning to the firm’s London corporate group after five years at the helm.

Harvey has been with Linklaters for over 13 years, having worked in the London office prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 1996.

In a separate move, London-based corporate partner Chris Kelly will be transferring to Linklaters’ Hong Kong office in June.

Linklaters further strengthened its Asian practice by inviting five partners to join the partnership from 1 May, comprising four in Hong Kong and one is Tokyo.
