Dewey Ballantine has poached the deputy general counsel of US property developing company KB Home for its global finance group.
Charles Carroll will join the firm as a partner in New York to work alongside department head Richard Shutran.
Shutran said: “Charlie is well regarded in the institutional finance community. Dewey’s clients and lawyers have worked closely with Charlie over the years. He has demonstrated a high level of expertise in various transactions.”
