KLegal’s managing partner Nick Holt has quit the troubled accountancy-tied firm.
Holt said: “It has been a fantastic experience to lead the firm through such challenging times, but it is now the right time for me to take a break and to consider fresh opportunities.”
As revealed by The Lawyer, the firm recently decided to cut ties with its accounting parent KPMG and its attempts to form a European network of former KLegal law firms look increasingly doomed.
Holt will continue at KLegal until the end of January. Colin Gray remains the chief operating officer for the firm in the UK and Shonaig Macpherson will retain the position of senior partner in Scotland.
