Reply Link Bobby Smith 11 March 2009 at 13:45 Discretion assured ‘The role isn’t being advertised’ suggests that APAX have appointed headhunters to fill the role. The firm they’ve employed must be useless, given that one of the main reasons to use them in a case such as this would be to keep the role below the radar until an appointment is made. For all the potential appointees, a tiny number of lawyers in the market, this publicity pre-empts the headhunt call and makes a mockery of client confidentiality. Money for old rope? Here it’s money for no rope at all! Reply Link Jeff 11 March 2009 at 19:16 Underdeployed? It certainly seems someone has time on their hands, I’m not sure its lawyers though. Reply Link Anonymous 11 March 2009 at 22:42 it was advertised (i saw it in another legal magazine) without mentioning Apax and is a role being placed by Barclay Simpson.
