Shame he wasn’t mentioned in the above article Reply Link Anonymous 11 January 2012 at 16:40 I believe Daniel Winterfeldt is at CMS now – my bet is that they will be a new entrant in this next year. Reply Link Anonymous 11 January 2012 at 16:45 Yes I agree. It will be interesting to see whether Simmons keeps its creditable lead in this field next year and how quickly Camerons catches up Reply Link Mark Middleton, Partner, Co-Chair Linklaters LGBT 11 January 2012 at 16:47 Many congratulations to Simmons on their continued success. As David Stone says in the article, this is an area where law firms should give heartfelt applause to one another’s achievements and look to see where we can learn from one another’s best practices. For our own part, Linklaters has been working closely with Stonewall for the last two years and we are really pleased with the advances that we have made to date in ensuring that we are (and are seen as) a gay-friendly employer. We took part in the Equality Index exercise for the first time this year (I think I am right in saying that we were the only magic circle firm to do so) and I am delighted that we were ranked 10th amongst law firms in our debut year. Equally as importantly, our engagement in the survey has helped us to identify areas where we need to focus our attention in the next year so that we can improve our ranking further next year.
