Manuela Zimmermann (37) has been promoted to counsel at the Central and Eastern European law firm Schoenherr as of 1 February 2016. She has vast and comprehensive Austrian and German insurance law experience, and was registered as a bar-certified insurance law specialist in Germany last year. Manuela Zimmermann has been working at Schoenherr since 2010 in Peter Konwitschka’s insurance practice. She advises clients on insurance supervisory law, insurance contract law and also represents them in legal disputes.

Manuela Zimmermann studied law in Dresden, Germany (Mag. iur. 2000). During her studies she worked for Rust & Kollegen attorneys at law. In 2004 Manuela Zimmermann was admitted to the bar in Germany and in 2007 in Austria. Before joining Schoenherr in 2010, she was employed by Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati (2004-05) and DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach (2005-10). Since 2015 she has been admitted as a bar-certified insurance law specialist in Germany. Manuela Zimmermann furthermore holds a teaching position at Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria.
