Lovells is closing in on a new corporate partner for its Milan office, and is voting on whether ex-Ernst & Young partner Paolo Tanoni can join the partnership.
Lovells Italy senior partner Leah Dunlop said: “Voting on this will close towards the end of next week. I would be amazed if it didn’t go in his favour.”
She added: “I’m very excited about the idea of putting his practice and clients with our practice here.”
Tanoni would take Lovells’ partner tally up to 17 in Italy. Dunlop said that the firm would continue to grow on the peninsula after taking more office space in Milan and Rome.
“We’re tripling the space,” said Dunlop, “which says something about where we’re going.”
