French firm Racine ramps up in Paris with five-lawyer hire

French independent Racine has recruited a five-lawyer team to bulk up its social law department in Paris.

Name partner Frédéric Broud joins Racine along with four associates from Paris firm Toison Villey Broud, where he has worked for 11 years. The team focuses on labour law issues, particularly in the telecoms, environment and service industries.

The hires bring the number of lawyers focusing on social law at Racine to 11, including three partners.

While Broud is the 20th partner for Racine’s Paris headquarters, he becomes the firm’s 37th partner across its other offices in France, Belgium and Libya.
