Information underload

The postmodern age of the minimalist press release has arrived – and not a moment too soon. So thanks to Oury Clark Solicitors for setting the trend with its one-line release about a recent deal.

This mighty missive was trailed by a helpful email which read: “Against the background of our practice’s increasing involvement in inward investment and more particularly China, I have pleasure in enclosing the attached press release.” Then came the information-packed presser. Here it is, in all its glory: “Holborn based law firm Oury Clark acted for China Telecommunications Corporation in the establishment of its European Representative Office located in the City.” That’s it, there is no more.
