Linklaters loses private equity star to Roschier

Finnish firm Roschier Holmberg has further ramped up its rapidly growing Stockholm office with the hire of Linklaters partner Jens Bengtsson.

Bengtsson, who has advised many of the private equity houses active in the Nordic region, including 3i, is recognised as a rising name in private equity. A Linklaters partner since 2004, he spent two years at McKinsey as a consultant between 2000 and 2002.

Roschier launched its Stockholm office in October 2005 and currently has 14 lawyers based there. They include Axel Calissendorff, the former Mannheimer Swartling head of corporate, and Lars Johansson and Ola Ahman, who joined late last year from local firm Cederquist.
