Peters and Peters has appointed a new partner, Tony Lewis, to the civil fraud/commercial litigation department, with effect from 1 October. Lewis joined Peters and Peters in March, having previously worked at CMS Cameron McKenna.

Mills & Reeve has promoted seven lawyers to associate level with effect from 1 September, four of whom trained and qualified at the firm.

Fried Frank has announced the appointment of tax specialist Madeleine Fabre as European counsel, resident in Paris.

Ashurst has appointed two new solicitors to its planning group. Marianne Bate joins from Nabarro Nathanson and Matthew Stimson from Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Mundays has made two partner hires. Corporate partner Larry Leporte comes from CMS Cameron McKenna, while Jane Arnold, a private client specialist, joins from Withers.
