Kent firm Buss Murton has poached partner John Kings from South East rival Lester Aldridge to start a new construction group.
Kings has specialised in construction law for 30 years and boasts clients including the Royal Institute of British Architects, Middlesex County Cricket Club and Grunwick Processing Laboratories. Headline projects include the redevelopment of Billingsgate Market in London for Citibank and a £50m development for supermarket giant Asda in Swindon.
Buss Murton commercial partner Robert Sedgwick said: “Our Dartford office is located in one of the key growth zones within the Thames Gateway, which will see around 20,000 new homes, up to 50,000 new jobs and 11 million sq ft of new commercial space created over the next 25 years.
“The new construction group will help us service our clients’ requirements in this area.”
