Desperately looking for a legal angle to the recent election of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger as Pope Benedict XVI, Tulkinghorn was delighted to stumble upon one last week.
Apparently His Holiness has a nephew currently hard at work at BPP Law School in London where, in a clear break from family tradition that has seen not only Joseph Ratzinger, but older brother Georg, join the priesthood, he is studying to be a solicitor.
There will be bonus points at the Gates of Heaven for whichever firm is taking on the Pope’s nephew as a trainee.
