In brief: Harrogate merger fights Leeds threat

Long-standing Harrogate firms Barber Robinson and Titley Paver-Crow & Fedden have merged to form one of the largest firms in the Yorkshire town. Barber Titleys will rank alongside Raworths as one of Harrogate's largest firms. Solicitors in the town have recently faced increasing competition from the large corporate Leeds law firms. The seven partners in the new firm are (from left to right) David Brawn, Tim Axe, Judith Long, Martin Blackham, James Grimshaw, Patrick Henry and David Reah.
