DWF has made further moves to strengthen its family practice credentials, with lateral hires to its Liverpool and Preston offices.
Pauline McNamara, a family partner at Southport firm Fletchers, has moved over to the Liverpool office of DWF together with associate Helen Morgan, an assistant, a trainee and three secretaries.
The move is a snub to Fletchers’ family practice, which will be discontinued with the firm focussing instead on personal injury.
DWF’s Preston office will see the arrival of associate Gill Graveson, a specialist in divorce, financial settlement and children. She joins from Marsden Rawsthorn along with her secretary.
The moves follow hot on the heels of the arrival of Cobbetts’ entire 14-strong family team to the firm’s Manchester office in May of this year (www.thelawyer.com, 25 April 2007).
