Howrey takes Simmons and Taylor Wessing partners

Howrey has boosted its London IP group with two new partners, taking Marjan Noor from Taylor Wessing and Paul Inman from Simmons & Simmons.

The hires continue Howrey’s London IP expansion and mark its second raid on Taylor Wessing. Last year the firm brought in life sciences partner Mark Hodgson from Taylor Wessing as well as former Linklaters IP chief Jeremy Brown.

Charles Lloyd, head of IP at Taylor Wessing, said on Noor’s departure: “We are sorry to lose a new young partner and wish her well.”

Noor has a medical background and specialises in patent and regulatory matters for clients in the life sciences sector while Inman’s practice focuses on patent litigation and dispute management in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Inman will join the firm in mid-February while Noor joined at the start of this week. Howrey IP partner Richard Willoughby said: “We welcome Marjan and Paul to Howrey. Next year promises to be an even more exciting and productive year for us and we are delighted that they will be part of it.”
