Freshfields revamps management of Paris finance team

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Dougall Molson has been appointed as the firm’s head of finance for Paris.

Molson replaces Hervé Touraine in the role. Touraine returns to full-time fee-earning after five years heading the department.

He said it was a “great pleasure” to be able to hand the baton over to Molson, adding that heading the finance group was an interesting and consistently exciting task due to constant developments.

The announcement follows the recent change of managing partner at Freshfields in Paris. Antoine Colonna d’Istria stepped down after four years, to be replaced by litigator Elie Kleiman (18 October 2011).
