Fieldfisher has re-elected senior partner Matthew Lohn, less than two months after managing partner Michael Chissick was also re-appointed.
Lohn was first elected to the post in February 2013 and his new term will also last three years starting in April.
As senior partner, Lohn chairs the firm’s supervisory board and has continued to fee-earn in Fieldfisher’s regulatory disputes practice. He is currently advising the Groceries Code Adjudicator on her first ever investigation into the supermarket retailer Tesco.
Lohn was previously the firm’s managing partner, but became senior partner after Fieldfisher announced a new leadership structure. In 2013, the firm confirmed Chissick, who had been acting managing partner, would assume the role permanently, after Lohn had been on leave for an extended period.
Under their leadership, Fieldfisher saw a 9 per cent increase in turnover in the last financial year. The firm’s half-year global revenues also grew 8 per cent for the first six months of the 2015/16 year.
