FFW takes Linklaters man

Linklaters construction partner Marshall Levine is leaving the magic circle firm for Field Fisher Waterhouse.

Levine headed the construction and engineering group. He was head of the department before it was rolled into Linklaters’ real estate department in January 2003.

Patrick Plant, head of Linklaters’ real estate group, said: “Marshall indicated to us more than a year ago that he wished to pursue new challenges. We wish him well.”

Levine is well known for his work for Amey and the BBC. He previously acted for TubeRail in its bid for Infraco JNP (the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines), and was heavily involved in the privatisation of British Rail.

Field Fisher managing partner Colin MacCarthur said: “We saw construction and projects as two potential growth areas for Field Fisher Waterhouse.”
