Corporate deals round-up

Baker & McKenzie with Pollath & Partner advised Swedish private equity firm EQT Partners on its proposed e418m (£292m) acquisition of dental systems manufacturer Sirona Dental. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Burkhard Richter, Andreas von Werder) advised Sirona Dental.

Linklaters (Stephan Oppenhoff) advised ITT Industries on its agreed e233m (£162.8m) acquisition of Wedeco AG Water Technology. Under the deal, ITT will offer e18 (£13) per Wedeco share in cash. Hengeler Mueller acted for Wedeco.

Charles Russell (Sue Cozens) advised Chyron Corporation on the £11.2m disposal of Pro-Bel. The purchaser, Oval, is a company owned by members of the Pro-Bel management team and backed by LDC. Osborne Clarke (Greg Leyshon, Stephen Wilson) advised the purchaser and LDC.

Field Fisher Waterhouse (Dominic Gurney-Champion) advised AWG Services, the financial services company, on its £11m acquisition of property developer Oak Holding. Under the deal, 490.3 million new AWG shares will be issued for the acquisition of the entire share capital of Oak. Nicholson Graham & Jones (Philip Morgan) advised Oak.

Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom (Michael Hatchard) advised GD First, the UK subsidiary of Gardner Denver, on its acquisition of the whole issued capital of UK transport components manufacturer Syltone for £47.2m. Syltone was advised by Addleshaw Goddard (Ian McIntosh).

Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison (James Schwab) advised private equity fund KPS Special Situations Fund on its offer to acquire Speedline Technologies from Cookson. Adler Pollock & Sheehan advised Speedline Technologies on the $10m (£5.9m) acquisition.
