Bevan Ashford is reinforcing its biotech expertise with the launch of a niche consultancy arm, called Epalan, to be run out of its London office.
Epalan will provide technical and scientific advice, risk management, and financial and management support to biotech clients.
The seven full-timers include a consultant embryologist, a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology, a public affairs consultant, a health education expert and a former business manager of an assisted reproduction clinic.
A public affairs expert will advise on EU law and provide lobbying assistance on genetic technology and assisted reproduction issues. The consultancy will service existing Bevan Ashford clients, and target new clients in both government and industry.
