Big, swinging clicks

One would think that being a partner at Slaughter and May would be reward enough, what with all that kudos. But that isn’t enough for some folks over at One Bunhill Row.

Apparently, the way to tell if you’ve really made it is if you get to be the partner in control of… wait for it… the little clicker thing that signals for the next course to be brought in for in-house lunches. The Times says this is known as “driving” the meal. And the person that wields the clicky thing (does said thing have a name?) wields the power.
