Volker has over 25 years of experience in international law & business in Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Japan, and the US. Throughout his career, V has been deeply immersed in the high-tech and consumer industry, working both with established public companies and innovative start-ups. Most recently, as General Counsel EMEA and member of the European board of directors at Sonos, the inventor of smart speakers. Notably, from 2002 until 2011 Volker held various senior management, compliance and legal positions, including the role of General Counsel EMEA at NetApp. NetApp is a Fortune 500 company known for providing cutting-edge data storage and management solutions. Volker is also a director of PixFirst, a scale-up that offers Software-as-a-Service solutions for photographers. He holds a law degree from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, and is admitted to practice law in Germany.
