Vincent Pickering is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Bolt, one of Europe’s largest technology companies. Bolt has over 150 million users and operates in over 500 cities in 45 countries. Mr Pickering leads a team of over 80 lawyers and professionals who are located across various geographies and timezones. A qualified lawyer for over 25 years, he has lived and worked in several countries in Europe and in the United States, building diverse high performing teams, bringing transformational leadership vision and inspiring business to outperform. He has extensive experience in all aspects of global business environments including M+A, corporate, compliance, privacy, regulatory, commercial licensing, intellectual property, commercial negotiations, employee relations and government affairs. He has worked in start-up environments as well as large world class multinationals across a variety of industries; ride-hailing, micromobility, food delivery, music streaming, IT, telecoms, software, oil and gas, automotive and manufacturing. Able to drive effective change across multicultural boundaries and work in multiple languages, he has a strong boardroom presence and is passionately committed to the highest standards of business integrity and execution. He is a hands-on manager who aims to inspire long-term high-quality embedded performance and strong relationships across an organization that go far beyond legal issues.
