Since Marcus Armstrong joined Brabners in 2022 to spearhead the launch of the firm’s Leeds office, downtime has been a rarity. Demonstrating remarkable growth, he has expanded the Leeds team to 35 members, including nine partners. Armstrong’s efforts extend beyond team expansion, as he works to actively integrate the Leeds office into the broader Brabners framework, preventing it from becoming a mere outpost at the end of the M62.
In addition to his role as heading up the new Leeds office, Armstrong is a corporate partner serving a diverse clientele ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to large corporations, with a focus on financial and professional services, healthcare and technology sectors. Elevating his responsibilities, he also assumed the position of overall head of the business services group at Brabners in May 2023.
Armstrong values the unique culture at Brabners, one that he finds challenging to express in words but believes sets it apart, while his satisfaction comes from recruiting like-minded partners and contributing to the overall growth of the Leeds office.
