João Fachana is Senior Head of Legal (Portugal) and Group Data Protection Officer at Farfetch, the leading global platform for the luxury fashion industry. He leads the Portugal and Privacy Legal teams, in charge of delivering end-to-end advice in all legal matters in Portugal, as well as data protection matters worldwide. For the past 8 years he has been working as an in-house lawyer in the technology sector, focusing his practice on e-commerce, software and technology agreements, employment and data protection matters. Prior to joining Farfetch, he was part of the Legal department at Sonae Investment Management (currently named Bright Pixel Capital).
