Exeter-headquartered Michelmores has beefed up its London presence with the hire of a partner and senior associate.
Institutional property specialist Paul Paling joins as a partner to lead the firm’s London commercial property team. Paling joins from Nabarro, where he was appointed as a partner in May 2007.
Also joining is former Silverman Sherliker intellectual property chief Dennis Lee, who has been appointed as an associate.
It comes as the firm agreed a deal to move into larger London premises in Chancery Lane.
Michelmores managing partner Malcolm Dickinson said there would be further additions as the firm looks to grow a London base.
He said: “We’ve hit the ground running in 2012 and the London office move illustrates both the growth of our business and our commitment to providing our growing workforce with prime office space.
“Paul and Dennis are both highly experienced and will be valuable additions to the team.”
