The practice has today announced that it will drop its pre-merger name and become known simply as Eversheds.

In a statement, Dublin office managing partner Alan Murphy said: “One of our key objectives is to continually improve our service offering to clients. The name change is the next logical step in our association with the client-centred approach that’s the hallmark of Eversheds.”

Eversheds’ Dublin office is part of the firm’s international network rather than its LLP. According to Eversheds’ managing partner Lee Ranson there are no immediate plans to financially integrate.

“I’m not saying that we won’t ever integrate the offices but there are no plans for it at the moment,” said Ranson.

The Dublin firm joined the network on 1 January 2006 (28 November 2005).
