Lovelorn, look away. Candlelit dinners and trips to the Côte d’Azur have been replaced with sexy briefcases and good note-taking skills. According to dating website eHarmony, these are the so-called benefits of dating a lawyer.
The matchmaking site narrowed the benefits down to a hot list of 15, assuming its readers are comically stupid in all of them. “Quoting your date will make you sound smarter,” is the number one bonus. “My boyfriend is a lawyer and he says…”
eHarmony manages to make dating a lawyer sound like a career move for the terminally single.
But here is one romance that until now has been kept strictly under wraps. Slater & Gordon is believed to have been pursuing a long-term relationship with Pannone in preparation for a marriage that could span decades.
It’s worth pointing out that there are already historical links – Slater & Gordon chief exec Neil Kinsella was a one-time Pannone partner.
This looks like a love that was written in the stars.
