Dundas exits continue as two partners quit firm

Dundas & Wilson has received resignations from a further two partners including former managing partner candidate Colin Massie.

Massie, a corporate specialist, is to leave the Scottish outfit alongside non-contentious construction partner Carl Asser. Neither partners’ destinations are confirmed.

The news comes after a string of partner departures from Dundas, including mostly recently restructuring lawyer Claire Massie, who is joining Pinsent Masons, and real estate partner Shane Toal, soon of Osborne Clarke (27 February 2013).

The firm has remained defiant despite the exits (7 February 2013) but has now seen a large number of partners quit the firm since the start of the year.

Massie stood for the managing partner job in mid-2012 (14 June 2012) but lost out to a joint ticket comprising Caryn Penley and Allan Wernham (21 June 2012).

A third candidate, corporate partner Michael Polson, resigned late last year (14 November 2012).

Dundas declined to comment.
