Other clients include several of the firm’s corporate clients for whom finance and treasury work is undertaken.
He is recognised by independent commentators as one of the UK’s leading lawyers specialising in high-value social-housing finance, particularly the funding of local-authority large-scale voluntary stock transfers. Papworth and his team have completed in excess of £17bn of social-housing funding transactions.
