Rebecca Mauleverer is a partner in the finance and banking team and is based in the Thames Valley office. Specialising in a range of debt finance work, including secured and unsecured, bilateral and syndicated lending both on a national and international level, she acts on behalf of either banks or borrowers (either corporate or private equity).
She has worked on a wide variety of transactions including:
- advising a club of banks (Lloyds, HSBC and RBS) in relation to the 29,200,000 and AUD12,500,000 financing of the acquisition of A-Gas International Limited;
- advising a bank in relation to the financing in connection with the £70m acquisition of an offshore cross-jurisdictional trust and fund business;
- advising a number of large national retailers (including Hamleys and Thorntons) in relation to their term or revolving financing arrangements;
- advising Santander in relation to the approximately £20m financing of a property portfolio.
Mauleverer trained at Allen & Overy LLP and qualified in 2002. She joined Shoosmiths in 2008.
