With less than two months to go before the industry’s top awards event, today we reveal the firms, chambers and in-house teams that will be jostling for a gong at The Lawyer Awards, which will be held at Grosvenor House Hotel in June.
Some of the individuals who might be digging out their dancing shoes include Yum! general counsel Sarah Nelson Smith, Anesco GC Jeremy Cross and Ijeoma Okoli of Lloyds Banking Group, who are among those competing for In-house Lawyer of the Year.
Teams close to a celebratory backslap include Eversheds, Hogan Lovells and Pinsent Masons – all on the line up for real estate team of the year, while BT Sport and Dell are among those on the shortlist for In-house TMT Team of the Year.
Meanwhile the inaugural shortlist for ABS of the Year, which aims to recognise the trailblazing tranche of legal businesses that took advantage of the arrival of the Legal Services Act in January 2012, will include Just Costs Solicitors, Schillings, Quindell and Richmond Chambers.
Hoorah. Now book a table and throw on the glad rags. See you there for a selfie.
